"I'd rather owe it to you than cheat you out of it."

So what are you doing today?

Sunday AfternoonIt's a quiet Sunday afternoon, not too much going on.  We already had a delicious lunch and did a quick cleaning of the kitchen (A little siesta would be nice but isn't a good idea with four very mobile kids and Grandpa Keith calling "Farley Farley Farley", which for some odd reason means come and get candy!)  So besides those regular weekend activities, what else can be done at the Grandparents' house?  Well, relax until dinner time and cook some more, of course!

Missionaries are scheduled to come later for dinner and with half of the planned meal cooking in the oven since noon, it gave to everyone time for something else.  Here are some little samples of what each of us were doing in the remains of the day.

As you see there isn't very much news to tell but wanting to keep up with Laura's (lately) exciting life by posting just random pics of us.  Now that you know what was "being cooked" around here, tell us about your Sabbath day adventures.  I'll start: I have tooth ache all day and changed two poopie diapers, so far.  Your turn... Don't be shy!

Sunday was a trip to the mountains to work at the cabin.  Great fun, and food but little in the way of relaxation.

Wait a second, I remember seeing those meatballs, taking pictures, but not eating them!  I've been fooled, double-crossed, bamboozled, had the wool pulled over my eyes, cheated, conned, duped, deceived, had, left hanging, lead astray, kerschnookered, hornswaggled, mislead, swindled, hoodwinked, bluffed, taken, tricked…

Sounds like Doug's still hungry.

Dear Doug,

I said "don't be shy!" not "give us the brutal truth!"  But in case you want to know: the meatballs were just your Dad's in-between meal craving - he wanted to try out a recipe from his new cookbook.
