She told you what happened in our sweet first 7 days of school, life at home with just the boy and Rachel and how we filled our tummies with delicious sea food and noodles at a baby shower. My sausages are still rumbling and tumbling from eating too many shrimps. Now it is my turn. Me, the animal lover Helen. In her last post she failed to mention the best part and biggest news: I lost my 2 top front teeth!
To end the summer we took a family camping trip to Flaming Gorge (our nephew Spencer Powell joined the family for our 3 day adventure). We drove through Fort Bridger in Wyoming. We camped in the Uintas at Ashley National Forest the first night...no one around, a great sunset, and peaceful setting. The next day we went down to the Lake to fish, tour the dam, and rent a raft a row down the rapids of the green river a two day full of activities. You say the words out loud and try to figure out the phrase. We kept saying it over and over again in all different ways (fast, slow, in an English accent etc). Mom was resting on the couch and after about 20 minutes she shouted out "John and Bobby Kennedy!" Just listening it's easy to figure out, but while you're looking at the meaningless words our brains get confused. Anyway, we played the game again last night, three years later and were having a good time, but got stuck on one card...again.
