Brad and Brittney's Blog

All the way from Hogwarts

What could it be?  Brad and I wondered as we saw the flash in the sun room. . . It was more of a #*%? that came out of Uncle Brad's mouth when we walked out into the sunroom as some critter darted around his head.  We stood inside looking out. . . finally the creature was still and we could see what it was.   Why would he come here? had crossed our minds.  Maybe it's a message from Claire, "You know she is studying at Hogwarts this time of year." I told Brad.  We were reminded about her being at Hogwarts, becaues we were looking at keithtaylorfamily.com when our guest arrived.  On her parents blog they had posted pictures of her in her Hogwarts Uniform on her trip home for the Halloween Holiday.  Then Brad said, "But I think Claire has a white one, doesn't she?"  All we could do was venture closer into the sunroom to see what he wanted.  Being muggles that we are, we were a little bit frightened by the creature.   Not to mention Aunt Brittney's fobia of such feathered friends and all their flapping about that they do.

So here is what we saw . . .

His message was in fact from Claire.  I guess this is Claire's long distance owl.  We won't discuss her personal message at this time.  Just that she is having fun with Harry, Hermione, and Ron at Hogwarts.

So for the rest of Claire family and friends, don't be surprised if one night an owl comes flying into your house (or in our case sunroom).  It's just Claire letting you know how she is doing.   We thought this post would let you know what kind of owl Claire has.  He safely made it out of our sunroom without any harm and should be back to Claire by now.

And to Claire, Molly wanted to let you know that she too is attending a Hogwarts type of school, but for four legged friends.  She is learning how to turn her dog food that we give her into a Thanksgiving Feast.  I will let you know how that goes.  Molly wanted to also send you a picture of what her school uniform looks like on her.

As you can tell she is getting used to the hat.

And for the rest of the Doug Taylor girls. . . Max wants you to know what you think of his police uniform.  He thinks that he would fit right in with the Washington State Troopers as best dressed.  He still has a few more years at the doggy police acadamy as well before he officially becomes a police dog.  Then he and Uncle Brian can both protect our streets.

He doen't mind his hat so much.

Until our next suprise from Hogwarts arrives. . .

Yea, they really didn't like the costumes.  I didn't make them wear them for long, only long enough to take the pictures.  Plus the only way I could get them on them was to make sure they were tired.

The costumes for your puppies are so cute.

I hope that Claire will share her owl with me. If you have magnifying glasses I can send you tiny letters with him.
