Just a follow up from my last post. I have found a yoga studio that I enjoy. The really awsome thing about this new place is that it is located conveniently to work, the house, and honestly the parts of Dallas that I know. I have to give a big thank you to Allison for guiding me in the right direction.
As for my most recent activity, I am currently in KS hanging out with the fam. Plus the pups needed to get some long distance running in. They sure are funny to watch run and sniff/hunt. I thought we lost Max the other day though. He had taken off with my parents dog Champ and we looked for him for about an hour until it was too dark to see anything. I knew he had to come back soon because he hadn't eaten for the night, and well lets face it Max is a lunchbucket. When we got home Max was sitting by the front door just waiting for us. I was so relieved to see him.
I have been showing my mom some yoga poses while here at the house. I am hoping that next time she comes to Dallas she will go with me and see what yoga is really like. I will let eveyone know how that goes.
Since moving to the Dallas area I have been desperatly trying to find a yoga studio that I like. You see while in VA I had been going to this AWSOME hot yoga stuido that I loved. For thoes who don't know, "hot yoga" is yoga that is done in a room 100-110 degrees with about 50% humidity. I know it sounds crazy, but really it's better for the body. You sweat out all of the toxins and your muscles are more limber when they are warm. Anyway, the instructors in VA really knew what it ment to practice yoga instead of preform yoga. Each class they taught how to forgive the body for not being able to do a pose to the full extent and to forgive yourself as well, which in this competative day is hard to do. Now I am finding that Hot House Yoga really was a jewel. I am getting a little frustrated around the Dallas area. Even more so, I see why so many more people don't like yoga These yoga studios are going to hurt someone. I can't imagine going to one of these studios as a first time yoga student, I think I would have banished yoga from my workout routine right on the spot.
Mostly I just wanted to vent about ths experience that I have had, but don't worry I am still on the look out for a great place to practice. Plus I wanted to say for anyone who has or is thinking of trying yoga, don't be afraid to speak up if something doesn't feel right or is painful. Yoga should not be a painful experience. I learned last night that some yoga instructors think they know what is best for your body, well to them I say, "It is my body and I know what is or isn't right."
Just wanted to give an update on our container garden that we have growing. It has be great fun watching everything grow. I just can't wait until we have tomatoes to eat!!! We have already used some of the herbs for cooking.

This is for all thoes trucker out there. They work long hours, are away from their families, and without them this country would be in a world of hurt. I have always known this, my mom working in the industry and all, but our trip from VA to TX really reminded me of it. I wish I would have counted the number of them that we passed, then again, that's a lot of counting. Next time you are driving, think about it. The reason I post this blog today is because of something I heard on the news. Truckers are boycotting if you will. They are parking their big rigs to say they are tired of fuel prices. This isn't the fist time they have done this. It never really works, because their is always someone there who will take the jobs. If all of them would do it all at once then yes it would be a BIG deal. Pretty much everything we consume comes to us by truck. Think about it. So again here's to all the men and women who own the road. Let's try to give them some repect on the road next time we are out. They keep this country moving and keep our stores full of all the stuff we love.

Ok, a while back I was tagged by one of my friends (yes, like the school yard game only now it has entered the blogging world). So to keep things going and fun here is what I am supposed to answer. . .
What is his name? Brad - I never put full names for the world to see on the net.
How long have you been married? Almost 5 years!!!
How long did you date? We met in Sept of my junior year of college ( 2002) , engaged in Feb 2003, married in Aug 2003. I kind of stole him away from my roommate.
How old is he? 26
Who eats more? Are you kidding. . . he's does. I have tried to challenge him once, but that just ended up in me losing and feeling really really sick.
Who said "I love you first." He did. I told him I was thinking of a mission for the church and by the end of the conversation he told me that he loved me. He tried to tell me that he wanted me to go, but he really didn't want me to.
Who is taller? Brad
Who sings better? I think I do, esp if Brad is trying to sing in Spanish. It's like he goes tone deaf when he sings songs, that are not hymns, in Spanish.
Who is smarter? Depends on what the subject matter is. I think this is probably true with any relationship.
Who's temper is worse? I think we are about the same. The thing is I have a tendancy to let it out more and let people have it, while Brad just walks away and gets over it.
Who does the laundry? I do.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Well it seems that everytime we move we switch and since Brad and I are currently not in the same time zone, I can't really say.
Who pays the bills? I do. Brad's not home enough to keep up with it.
Who mows the lawn? We both do. When he's home he does, when he's not, I do.
Who cooks dinner? We both do. I work 12 hours when I work, so thoes days when Brad's home he does. The days that I am home I try to.
Who drive when you are together? Brad does. I like to, but Brad has a thing about driving and being in control of the keys. He's always afriad that I will lose them.
Who is more stubborn? Me. What else can I say.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Wrong, we are never wrong about anything :)
Who's parents do you see most? Currently his, since I am living with them.
Who has more friends? Brad, he has a ship full of them, really he does.
Who has more siblings? Brad, he's the youngest of 6, while I have one younger brother.
Who wears the pants? We both do, no one wants to go running around half naked!!!
Now I think I am supposed to tag someone. . . so I guess I will tag. . . Teresa.
