    A while ago Brian asked Doug to translate a song into Spanish. Doug wasn't able to do it and kept saying it was too hard. Well after seeing "The One Semester of Spanish: Spanish Love Song" it doesn't seem like Doug's excuse holds up anymore!     Yesterday evening Clyde and I left the kids in Grandma and Grandpa's expert care while we did some Christmas shopping. Grandma helped the girls take a bath, but since they didn’t need to wash their hair she let them use shower caps. Claire caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and observed, "I look like a naked lunch-lady."

  • Turducken

    Nana was in town for about a week and stayed at Dad's house over the weekend. She's the nicest person in the world. You could light her hair on fire and jab her with a hot poker and she'd say, "Isn't this wonderful?" We tried it out. For dinner on Sunday Aunt Barbara and Caroline came up and we ate a delicious turducken. Writing a limerick about a turducken is a dangerous proposition.
