    Last Friday, Claire and Helen brought home a homework assignment for us. We (the parents) were suppose to put a few thoughts together about the dangers of harmful drugs and ways to encourage the kids to be their best without using them. We were assigned to write down these thoughts on cards they provided and send them back to school so they can be posted on a "Positive Statement Wall."   • October Surprise

    Jenny came to town for conference weekend. She knitted some hats for the girls while we listened to the Good News from Salt Lake. Andrew then used one of the hats to hold up a local 7-Eleven.
  • Fall Festival at the Arboretum

    Now that it's not a billion degrees outside we took the kids to spend a Saturday afternoon at the Dallas Arboretum. It is really an amazing place. We brought a picnic and spent hours exploring the many gardens, pumpkin displays, the pioneer village and more. Last year at this time we went with Jeff and Meredith's family.   • The Taylors: Super-Germs

    I did a project for school where I got to make a cartoon about what my life would be like as a germ. So I used MS Paint on Mommy's computer and told the story about how our family (good germs) fought against the bad germs in the throat. Enjoy!
