  • Birthday Surprise. Again!

    As we told you earlier , we made a welcome home dinner for grandma Marti, and grandpa too, and left it in their fridge to be discovered on their return from their travels. What we didn't tell you is we Doug recorded it: This is what happens when you leave town and have unattended responsible and caring kids with a copy of your house key and too much time on their hands.     This was one of the many sales pitches shouted by Claire, Helen and Rachel as loud as their lungs would allow to advertise their lemonade stand. They opened for business this past weekend, and it lasted for a whopping 4 hours!   • Plane at the Park

    We've been saving for a while and finally bought our my very own foam airplane. We took turns throwing it, but since I really got the toy for me I ended up doing most of the throwing while the kids did the running. The girls said "Daddy's making such a big effort, lets help him." They thought they were doing me a favor by doing the exercises themselves. Lucky me! Click here for some fun pictures.

  • Dinner and a Movie, in 3D

    For those of you suckers who didn't have Greg and Kelley giving to you this past Christmas, my condolences. Clyde and I ate out at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse last weekend, courtesy of our new favorite brother and sister-in-law. My steak was delicious, and Clyde ordered chicken.
