Erin on the Camino Cielo


Just got back from driving the Camino Cielo trail with Erin, along the ridge of the Santa Ynez mountains northwest of Santa Barbara.  It was cold and foggy and a bit rugged, but a very nice drive. 

From the mountaintops we contacted Dave K6HWN in Santa Barbara and Justin K6LPZ all the way back in Carpinteria, on 146.52 using a only 5 Watts from handheld radio and a mag-mount antenna on the hood of the Jeep.

Erin took the picture of me.
