Adam Søren Taylor

Born today June 23, 2008, at 10:31 a.m.  He weighed almost 8 pounds, and measured 20.5 inches fore and aft.

He had a bit of a rough time coming, apparently having wrapped the umbilical cord around his neck, a tree, and the bumper of a truck.  He also managed to arrange his shoulder such that you'd think he didn't want to come out.  But out he came, a bit shaken.  (You can see, in the first picture of the gallery, taken just minutes after he was born, his original grayish color.  He is holding his own oxygen mask.)  But he snapped back admirably in no time, turned a nice pinkish color, and immediately ate his first lunch.

He looks great!  How are the girls reacting to the new baby?  Our kids are very excited about the new cousin!  Congratulations!

He's a gorgeous baby.  Congratulations to the whole family!

Boys come from a completely different world. There's nothing that compare with your boy calling "Momma" with the sound of a kiss in between.  As the time passes, it just gets better.  Trust me, proud Mom Kelley!

Great pictures.  It looks like the girls love him already.  My girls love him too.  We can't wait to meet Adam.

He looks wonderful.  Jane's excited to share a birthday..at least this will help me remember Adam's birthday.  Can't wait to see him in person and hold him!
