Five goals

It was the last game of the season, and Erin scored five goals for the Fuego today.  Five.

She also demonstrated familiarity and comfort with the First Rule of All Human Conflict, including sports: Put the other man down.

Great soccer-action pictures; she sure looks like a pro!

We know where she got her great soccer-skills genes but I wonder where her natural "Put the other man down" talent came from.

I take no credit for Erin's skills. She really has something special there which far exceeds her mother's abilities. The best part is that she really seems to enjoy it for what it is...a fun time running around with her friends.  The great thing about being five is that next month she'll have some new thing that she wants to devote herself to. Greg and I are having so much fun watching our children develop and grow.
